Mohammed Siraj is one of the Indian cricket sensations, which have amazing pace, accurate and swing deliveries. He made his international debut for India in T20Is in 2017, later very soon in ODIs and Tests for air. His breakthrough came during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21 while he played a key role in India’s historic series win in Australia. Inexperience aside, Siraj was India’s bowling spearhead in the absence of senior attack, bagged key India wickets, and finished as the highest wicket-taker in the series.
In the IPL 2025, Gujarat Titans invested heavily in him, securing his services for a staggering INR 12.25 Crore. Earlier, he played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and has thus become a core part of their pace attack. Siraj is known to bat at the start as well as to die with the ball. With time, he has improved significantly in both batting and bowling. His swing with the new ball, especially under pressure, has made him one of the most reliable fast bowlers in the IPL and in international cricket.
