Artificial Intelligence has evolved from being a large language model to generative AI and now Agentic AI, which can handle autonomous tasks and learn on the job, often utilising other AI processes. This means organisations can effectively improve their productivity and efficiency across sectors.
AI adoption has already scaled up. In an IBM survey, 94% of CIOs reported using AI in line-of-business functions, and more than 50% expect its usage to be widespread by 2025. AI is transforming workflows in various departments, from IT (71%) to supply chain (68%) and product development (67%).
However, to utilise the full potential of agentic AI, companies need to reevaluate existing processes and consider redesigning their entire workflow system.
